How state law shapes your Kovo Credit options

Kovo Credit is available to residents of all 50 states, but personal loans are regulated state by state. That is why two people with the same credit score can see different offers depending on where they live.

  • APR caps. Many states limit the maximum rate on small installment loans, so the top of the 5.99%–35.99% range may not apply where you live.
  • Loan sizes and terms. Some states set minimum or maximum amounts and terms for consumer loans, which changes which partner lenders can make an offer.
  • Licensing. Each partner lender must hold the license your state requires. You can check any lender on the NMLS Consumer Access site, and our State Licensing page explains how.
  • Credit building is the same everywhere. The Kovo Credit Builder reports to TransUnion®, Equifax®, Experian® and Innovis® in every state.

If your state is not listed above yet, you can still check your rate. Pre-qualification shows only the offers that are legal and available for your ZIP code.
