Our commitment to equal credit access, regardless of who you are.

Kovo Credit is committed to providing equal access to credit-building and personal-loan opportunities to every eligible U.S. consumer, without discrimination. This commitment reflects both our values and our obligations under federal law.
The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act (15 U.S.C. §1691 et seq.) and its implementing regulation, Regulation B, prohibit creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of:
Kovo Credit's underwriting and partner-matching logic consider only legally permissible factors — income, employment history, state of residence, debt-to-income ratio, and credit profile. Our systems do not use any prohibited characteristic as an input.
Kovo Credit partner lenders operate under their own ECOA, Fair Housing Act, and state fair-lending obligations. We vet partner lenders for fair-lending compliance before adding them to the network.
If a Kovo Credit partner lender declines your application, you'll receive an adverse action notice explaining the specific reasons, as required by ECOA. If a credit report was used in the decision, you'll also receive the contact information for the credit reporting agency that supplied it, along with information about your right to a free copy and your right to dispute inaccuracies.
If you believe you've experienced discrimination related to a Kovo Credit product or a partner lender, you have several options:
Many states have additional fair-lending protections. Your state Attorney General's consumer-protection office can advise on state-specific rights.
Kovo Credit's financial education library is free to everyone, member or not. Equal access to information is foundational to equal access to credit.
Credit should be judged on your ability to repay, not on who you are. That principle is in federal law and it's in our product.
